Assignment 8A: Solving the Problem

My opportunity that I presented is very common in the nation and it is one of the top leading causes for deaths in a year. Texting while driving has taken the lives of too many people and has projected danger on innocent people. Texting and driving is not only sending a text, it is whenever the driver is not completely focus and engaged in the driving, switching music or glancing down at the phone are still equally as dangerous as sending a text. My solution would be another setting on every phone model that detects when someone is driving and instead of asking the driver if they are driving, to automatically enable the setting. Apple already has a setting that allows calls and texts to be silenced when driving but the setting asks the individual if they are driving before to enable the setting. The driver can easily say no and begin to text and drive. In addition to the new software I would like states to begin requiring a course on texting and driving and listen to people who ha

Jaylynn Rivchin ENT3003 September 13, 2019 There have been many occasions where I have found myself exposed to entrepreneurship, one experience is when I took "Creativity In Action" course here at UF. I was required to take this course for my Innovation minor. This course required me to be in a group where we all worked together to invent a prototype for a specific issue. Our issue was how to improve emotional intelligence in childhood development. Together we proposed an idea of a watch that detects pulse rates on children and emits soothing sounds that relieve the child. We called our prototype "The Mellow Way", as a group we all were assigned different roles in order to successfully make the invention. We thought how might we improve emotional intelligence of a child's ability to identify, evaluate, control and express emotion in childhood development. Once the prototype was made and we had each component, we developed a pitch to present to multiple pote
